Hello everyone, I am Kim de Sutter and today I will talk about a topic that many women do not know. Brushes I know that most of you do not need all these brushes, but for me as a professional makeup artist is necessary. I will teach you the proper use of each brush, and at the end of the video I will tell you which are the essential brushes you must have in your makeup bag. Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel if you want to continue watching these videos about fashion, makeup, and beauty tips. Let’s get started with the video. I divided my brushes into 4 groups. The first one is for powders and blushes. Then I have brushes for the eyes, for the foundation and lastly for the lips. I am going to begin with the one for the lips since there’s only one, and it’s basically used so you don’t have to apply any lipstick directly onto the mouth, so it is more hygienic. This one is for the concealers, for the eye bags, pimples, or stains. These three are for the foundation, but it depends on the coverage we want to obtain. This one is for a higher coverage and these two are for blending and to give a more natural result. These three brushes are for my eyebrows. These two are for combing them, and this one to define them. When I want to use a gel liner I use these two, but you can choose the one that you prefer. You can use this one which is a precision eye liner or this one which is flat. This one is for blending the eye shadow I apply in the bottom part of my eye. This brush I use to apply any pigments, or shadows, and with any of these four brushes I blend it. You can choose any of them, it depends on how comfortable you feel because all of them have the same shape. This one is to apply the blush. When we want to seal a very small part of the face like our eye bags, we use this brush which is very small. These two are for the contour, but it depends on which part you need to define. This one is generally used to contour the cheeks, and this one is used for smaller areas like the forehead and chin. And these three I use to apply powders. It also depends on how much we want to cover or blend, that’s why the size. The smaller it is, you’ll obtain better coverage, and the bigger it is, like the Kabuki, it will look more natural. As you may have noticed, there are a lot of brushes, so I select the most essential ones so you can create your own personal kit. From the 24 brushes I just showed you, I chose nine that are the most important for every area of your face: Powder Foundation Blush Contour Concealer Eyes To comb the eyebrows Eyebrow liner Gel liner I hope you found this information useful.
