Makeup Tips for a 1980s Fashion Icon Look : Apply Eyeliner for a 1980s Makeup Look

Now that crease is done, we’re going to do
some eye lining. I’m actually going to take the same color I used on the crease, that
dark blue, on a little pencil brush and I’m going to go underneath her eyes just so everything
is even. We don’t want to leave underneath the eyes too bare because then the top will
look way to dramatic. Turn this way. This pencil brush is great because it really kind
of smudges and smooths everything out. If you put a little too much on, you can just
kind of blend it in with a brush. It’s really, really easy. You want it to look a tiny bit
smoky. Look up. Then the same as I do with all my other looks, I always like to put a
little highlight in the corner because it makes such a difference. It really opens up
the eyes. Just a teeny bit. You can use the same brush. Just make sue it doesn’t have
blue on it or a different one, and just put a teeny bit of like a champagne. Any kind
of sparkley bright color in the inside corner of the eye. It just gives the illusion that
the eye is just bigger and brighter, especially when you’re using dark colors. You always
want to have some sort of a highlight color in the corners of the eye and underneath the
brow.
