Cool Toned Eyeshadow Look (Silver Glitter Makeup) | New Years Eve Makeup Look

hey guys what’s up welcome back if this
is your first time stopping by my name is Brittany and welcome today’s video I
did create this cool tone eyeshadow look for you guys I went ahead and put on
some silver glitter on the Lich really make the eyes pop and I think that that
added the extra touch that makes this the perfect New Year’s Eve makeup look
for the year of 2018 I just think that the cool tone eyeshadows blend it in so
well with the silver glitter I’m living for it we all know that New Year’s Eve
is one of those holidays that everybody goes over the top overboard get dressed
up goes out has fun and goes to parties goes to house parties so that’s why I
wanted to throw on the silver glitter on top of the cool toned eyeshadows because
I really just feel like it gives it that extra pop that we all want under the
ears I mean if I’m putting in all this extra effort to look like this I want to
turn heads literally so I’m just going to go ahead and dive right into today’s
cool tone eye shadow look the eyes haven’t already subscribed please
consider subscribing and hitting all your post notifications as well as about
you’re notified every single time that I upload to my channel I upload two to
three times a week every single week so you always have content coming from me
and I would love for you to jump into 2019 with me it’s part of my be family
if you guys want to see how I created this a really beautiful cool tone eye
shadow look with the silver glitter that is the ultimate New Year’s Eve and
makeup look for the year of 2018 then please keep on watching alright guys so
I did go in and prep my lid and I did put tape on the outer part of my eye
because we are going for a sharp look today and we are going to be going into
the Anastasio sultry palette today this is one of my favorite cool toned
eyeshadow palettes that I own so then I’m going to start off this look by
going into the shade dystopian and I’m just going to place that directly in the
crease okay now that that shades on I’m going
to go in with my morphe and 506 brush and I’m going to go into the shade Tway
and I’m just going to buff that right above the edges of where we placed that
last shadow just to really blend out the crease I’ll kind of drag in the shadow a little
bit further into the crease as well when you have that nice and packed on I’m
going to go back in with my crayon brush into the shade dystopian again and I’m
just going to blend that back over top of the lash other we place down just to
really deepen up the crease more okay once you have that nice and packed on
I’m going to go in with my morphe m45 six brush and I’m going to go into the
shade in the wire and then I’m just placing this directly in the crease little really goes a long way with this
shadow it is so pigmented it has to be one of the blackest shadows that I own
let go back in with my crown brush I’m going to go back into the shade to stop
in and I’m just going to blend that back over top of where we place the black
shadow just so that there’s no harsh lines and so that the black really
blends into the crease and then I’m going to go back in with my 506 and I’m
going to go back into the shade twig one more time and then I’m just going to
blend a little bit more of that above the crease as well I’m also going to go
back in with that four five six brush and I’m going to pack that black shadow
on the outer V of the eye okay so at this point you can remove the tape and you should have a really nice sharp line
like that so at this point I’m going to go back in with my pov space because I
am gonna be cutting the lid today and I’m just going to apply that all over
the lid area except for where I place that black shadow on the outer V of the
eye and that all on I’m going to go back in
to the brush we use for the black shadow and I’m just gonna buff the black shadow
into the P Lewis base so that there’s no harsh lines when we go in with the next
shadow we’re going to go into the shade sideboard and I’m going to give my brush
a spray at this point with my skin and maybe a setting spray I’m going to place
that silver shadow all over the lid once you have that nice impact on I’m going
to go back in with the same brush that I used for the black shadow with no
additional product and then I’m just going to buff the black shadow into that
silver shadow again so that it’s really nice and smoking that there’s new hires
lights I mean you could totally leave the look here at this point and put some
liner on lashes you’re good to go but of course I had to take it a step further
with glitter we’re gonna be going into my lit cosmetics share glitter today
this is in the size 3 I think 90% of the glitters I have from them are in size 3
look how pretty that glitter is guys so this is the glitter that I will be going
in today on the lid with just to add it an extra pop because let’s face it it’s
New Year’s but I go in with my violet gloss glitter glue this is a glue that I
use for all my glitter looks and I’m just going to place this all over the
lid where we place that silver shadow then I’m going to go in with my makeup
Shack T to brush spray it with my spray and then I’m gonna go pick up a bunch of
that product up I also forgot to I did this before I did
the glitter on the other eye but I’ll just go in and do it now
I did go in with my morphe m51 5 bras backing at the shade noir and I just
took it directly above where I cut the crease just to further deepen the crease
up and to help make the cut crease stand out just a little bit more and then I
went over top of that with my morphe 36 brush with no product and then I just
buffed it into the crease before liner today guys I am going to go
into my NYX black liquid liner when I do chunkier glitter it looks like this I
always like to go in with a liquid liner because it’s a lot easier to apply over
top of the glitter then a gel liner so I’m just going to go in and create a
line on the eye today I’m not creating a wing I’m just going to blend the liner
into the black shadow after I have it on and then I’m going to go back into the
shade noir and I’m just going to pack that black shadow over top of the outer
V the eye one more time and to really make sure that it covers where I stopped
in the liner then once that’s done I’m going to go in with my mark the m16 zero
brush and I’m going to go back into the shade and a wire again and I’m just
going to pack that over top of where I place the liquid liner just to really
set in the liquid liner and guys now that liners on I am gonna hop off camera
ring clip I’m going to throw all my lashes and then I will be right back
guys I did go in and do my lashes off-camera and I’m going to move right
into the face now so to start this off I am going to go in with MacLaren’s Hydra
essential gel sorbet this is what it looks like right here I haven’t tried
that this product out you have to be quite honest it was sent to me but I
read the back and I’m intrigued by it and to be honest I have nowheres to go
today so what better day to try it then on a
day where I had another to go just like him so I’m gonna put this on it’s
supposed to be really moisturizing so that’s why I want to put it on I already
did do my skin care earlier but this is just another barrier that I want to put
on to make sure that my foundation stays looking good I am also gonna go in with
my cover FX custom enhancer drops I’m going in with the shade moonlight today
because I want the skin to look a little extra dewy
cause it’s New Year’s so I’m just gonna go in and then I’m gonna blend that into
the skin as well don’t need to be perfect cuz you’re
going over top of it with foundation anyway so for foundation today I am
going to be going into my hood of beauty latte foundation this is a really nice
full coverage foundation and obviously you’re going to want to be full coverage
on New Year’s I would be anyway I’m also going to go around the brow
area with I’ll be right back that could have been so bad I’m going to
go in with my honest eyes you stick foundation in the shade expresso and I’m
just going to apply this right around the cheekbone area and around the
forehead okay so now that that parts done you’re going to go in and do my
concealer so for that I’m going to go in and mix my a born this way a multi
sculpting concealer and my color pop concealer together and I’m just going to
put that underneath the lower lash line I am going to be doing something
different today as well guys and I’m not going to be going in and baking
underneath my eyes I’m just going to go in and press the powder into my under
eye area I’m going in with my lawless to seal the deal loose setting powder and
I’m just going to Pat it underneath the eye area today
and winter has my skin and up like so dehydrated all the time it’s driving me
crazy between my xena and dryness poor face
powder I am going to be going into my next no filter powder to medium all of
this is the same powder I used pretty much in every single tutorial and I’m
just gonna lightly set the rest of my face with this powder and before I move
on to the rest of the face I am gonna go in underneath the lower lash line and
finish that ups I’m going to start by going in with my mark the e36 brush and
I’m gonna go into the shade noir and I’m just going to pick up like the smallest
amount of that possible and just blend it on the outer part of the eye and then
I’m gonna go in with my Sigma e30 brush and I’m going to go into the shade twig
and then I’m going to blend that into the rest of the lower lash line I’m also
going to go in and do the waterline so are you going to go into my Maybelline
black gentle liner and I’m just going to pop that on the waterline I’m gonna go
back in with that a36 brush and I’m just going to buff the very outer part of the
lower lash line in to that liner just so that it’s a little bit more smoky we’re
going to go back in to that glitter from lit cosmetics I’m gonna go into my
liquid sugar by eye candy cosmetics and I’m going in with my makeup Shakti 75
brush and I’m just going to apply some of this to the lower lash line just to
add some extra sparkle place that like all along the marsh line like that and
then it’s time to go in on the lower lash line I am going in with my Revlon
volumizing mascara this actually is a really nice mascara for contour today I
am going to keep it kind of in the cool tone realm so I’m going to go in to my
Smashbox cow the contour palette I can finally use this again now that my tan
from the summer is completely gone because it was a little too late for me
when I was really tan also been testing out the makeup check t25 brush it’s just
a really small flat brush for contouring and so far I don’t you mind it once you
get the hang of it also going to go underneath that with my hood of UD
easy-bake powder and blondie and I’m just going to use that to chisel it out
some while I let that set for a second I’m gonna go into my morphe 8c cool Pro
blush palette and I think I’m just going to keep it very simple and I’m gonna go
in with these two blushes right here and just mix them together because I don’t
want to take away from the eyes and then I’m just gonna blend that right into the
contour as well alright guys so now that that’s done I’m gonna go in and
literally soak the face at this point and I finally did restock up on my pixie
hydrating milky mist as well and I’m gonna soak my face to exist as well
while the face is still wet that’s when I want to go in with my highlighter
obviously I wanna have a blinding highlight for New Year’s so to go with
this look I am going to be using my makeup revolution skin kiss highlighter
this one is completely shattered it sucks but it’s still usable and this is
in the shade frozen kiss you just have to be really careful with these
highlighter guys they are so pigmented and just apply it to the highest point
of the cheek okay for lips you could do one of two
options you could go in and rock this look with a really nice red lip but I
don’t want to I want to keep the main focus on the eyes so I’m going to go in
and keep the lift neutral today and I’m going to go in with my NYX brown lip
liner and I’m also going to shave the corners in as well you have like a nice
ombre effect with my lips and then I’m going to go in with my MAC lipstick in
the shade Landy alright guys so that is it for my cool tone eye shadow look
today I really hope that you guys enjoyed it I really think this silver
glitter on the lid really makes this eye look pop and it is so bomb I love it if
any of you guys decide to recreate this look and make it your New Year’s Eve
makeup look then please tag me on Instagram I will have all that
information listed in the description box below if you guys enjoy today’s

that being said thank you so much I love you and I will catch you in my next

  1. Loving this!!! 😍 The Glitter Really Made It Pop; Very flattering on you. I agree I think the nude lip was the better direction. I can see this paired with a sequin top or dress. I really am enjoying the glitter across the bottom as I think that is unique and ties the two together well. You don't see that done very often but I'm feeling it. What is the sugar liquid stuff you used? Is it like A glitter glue? I've never heard of or seen it before. Course I've never tried using glitter either so that's probably why. I think I like the color of the drops you used today better then the other shade… or if is the same shade maybe it was something to do with the amount? Not sure but it didn't seem to be as dark toned. Totally related to the brush mistake! 😂 I've done that before only a lot worse. I've actually went to set my face and grabbed the wrong brush and ended up having to redo everything. 😳🙄 My Son Had Distracted Me With A question and I turned to answer him while buffing in the powder. He stopped mid sentence and said umm i don't think that's right?! I looked back into the mirror and had a wonderful royal blue streak across my forehead and cheeks. 🤦😩😖 and of course the foundation grabbed on and wouldn't let it go. Funny now but not so much at the time.

I was actually starting to wonder if you had been hit with the flu or something cuz I hadn't seen you all week… or at least it felt that way. 😂 I missed you my friend!! I got my order in finally only now I can't get into the box to get it. I thought it would be delivered to the door but nope they put it in a mail box similar to a PO box cuz it was too big for my mailbox. Left me A key and of course the key goes in but won't turn to open it. 😡 so frustrated!! So in the morning I'm headed to the post office to bitch about it and hoping I will have it Tuesday. If I'm lucky, I can catch the delivery person and have them get it out for me. I actually had to write BH to ask about where it was because I had not received it when stated and had no updates after Dec 2nd on it. The next day I had three updates from the DLH shipment people but nothing from BH. So Idk if they got onto the delivery people about not updating me or if they ignored my message all together. Worst delivery I've ever had to date. I'm not sure if there were outside factors or if this is the norm for them. I've not heard anyone else complain about the delivery from them so I'm hoping its just outside factors cuz if I really like what I ordered, I'd hate to reorder from them and go through this again. I thinking about trying the new release physcians formula lip tint? Balm? Lipstick? Not really sure what they are calling them right off. I've seen 2 reviews on them and both are raving about them being moisturizing and decent staying power. I think there's like 20 shades to choose from. The new shadow palettes, that are suppose to be like the butter bronzer formula, aren't that great from what I hear. The two shimmer metallic type shades apparently turn hard pan super quick and don't stay true to color. I had thought about trying the one with the dark teal pop of color but after seeing them used, I don't think I'll be giving then a try. I'm thinking about Juvias tribe palette and those 3 highlighters. Only one highlighter I could wear but the other two I was thinking would be amazing on the eyes since they are very pigmented and have that bronze, copper metal effect.

  2. Hi Brittany! Great video and I definitely WILL try this one for New Years! I'll be wearing purple and gold this year so I feel like doing a gold shimmer (as opposed to silver) will look AWESOME! THANK YOU!

  3. Hey girl! As a redhead and a warmed skin girl, will you please do a warm-toned eyeshadow look? Silver is GORGEOUS! but I don't think I can pull it off 🙁

  4. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! This really is a perfect New Year's look – or for really any fancy night out in the winter. Your nails even match! Cheers!
